The 1" ball on the double socket arm clicks in with a satisfying, solid lock, and the diamond base's 1.912" hole spacing matched my pre-drilled holes without any adjustment. It's a sturdy, no-frills setup that handles vibration way better than my old cheap mount.

The two holes line up perfectly at that 1.912" spacing, so mounting was a breeze on my existing ball base. The diamond plate feels rock solid once it's torqued down, no wobble at all even on rough trails.

Was a little worried the diamond plate base wouldn't sit flush on my textured dash, but the two holes lined up perfectly with my existing mount points and the arm holds everything rock solid. The 1" ball connection is snug without being impossible to adjust, which is exactly what I needed.
