I was a little worried about security with my previous mount setup, but these pin-lock knobs fit perfectly on the 1.5" socket arms and give me real peace of mind. The key mechanism is smooth and the leverage is just right for getting a solid tightness without stripping anything.

The pin-lock key is a solid piece of metal, not some flimsy plastic, and it grips the knob with zero wiggle. I can finally torque down my gimbal bracket without worrying about someone walking off with the mount. Replacing the standard knobs took about five minutes, and now everything stays put.

The key fits snugly into the socket arm’s hole and provides just enough grip to really crank it down tight. I feel a lot better leaving my gear mounted now that these locks are in place.
