Finally got it mounted on an old oak tree near my hunting spot and the short arm keeps my trail cam perfectly stable even in heavy wind. That 1" lag bolt really bites into the wood—zero wobble after a week of storms. Exactly what I needed for a cheap and solid camera mount.

Was a bit worried the single lag bolt wouldn't hold on a slightly soft fence post, but it's rock solid and the ball joint lets me angle the cam exactly where I need it. Took about two minutes to tap in and twist.

The lag bolt gripped the tree trunk perfectly, and the B-size ball lets me angle the camera just where I need it. No wobble at all, even after a windy night.
