I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and effortless the rotation is with that patented ball and socket—makes it easy to adjust my rod without loosening a knob. The whole setup feels really solid in my boat’s track mount.

The single socket arm gives me just the right range of motion to adjust my rod angle without loosening anything. Snapped it onto my existing RAM ball mount in seconds and it hasn't budged, even when trolling at speed.

The rubber ball and socket joint lets me adjust the rod angle without any tools, which is handy. I just wish the socket arm had a bit more lateral range for tighter spaces on my kayak. Solid build otherwise.
