Cut this faceplate to my exact specs and it slid into the console like it was made for it—zero flex or play once tightened. The lightweight feel surprised me given how rigid the die cast is, but it’s been holding my device steady on bumpy roads for weeks now.

The cutout for my radio fits perfectly, and the die-cast build gives it a reassuring heft without being bulky. Only minor quibble is that the included screws were a bit short for my particular install.
