Finally, a ball base that actually feels solid — the die cast marine grade aluminum is a huge step up from the plastic ones I've broken. Install was pretty straightforward, and the Twist-N-Tilt mechanism holds my mirror perfectly in place on bumpy roads.

I was skeptical about the ball base holding up on bumpy roads, but the marine-grade aluminum has proven incredibly solid so far. Adjusting the mirror angle is quick even with gloves on, thanks to the smooth Twist-N-Tilt mechanism. Feels like a permanent upgrade that won't let me down.
