The 18-inch rod gives me just the right amount of reach to get the transducer away from my hull, and the wedge lock feels incredibly solid once tightened down. I was worried it might wobble in a current, but it stays perfectly stable even when I'm paddling hard.

This mount keeps my transducer perfectly positioned away from the hull even in rougher water, and the wedge design locks it tight with no wobble. It charges in about 40 minutes and the 18" rod gives me plenty of reach to find the sweet spot.

The 18" rod is just the right length to keep my transducer clear of the hull while still being easy to stow. Took it out in choppy water and it stayed locked in place without any wobble. Feels solid enough to handle repeated use.
