I was a bit skeptical about mounting anything on my car's dashboard lip, but the clamp on this base grabbed hold of the edge firmly and hasn't budged. The double socket arm lets me adjust the mirror exactly where I need it, which is great for seeing around the back of my SUV.

The clamp on this mount feels solid and the mirror is a good size for my needs. It was pretty easy to install on my truck's glove box lip, though I wish the included instructions were a bit clearer. A solid buy for a clean setup.
