Finally found a solid 1/4"-20 adapter that doesn't wobble; the 0.56" rubber ball grips tight in my mount. Installed it on my DSLR and it holds steady even during bumpy car rides.

The rubber ball on this adapter gives me a nice range of motion for positioning my action cam, and the 1/4-20 thread screwed on perfectly without any wobble. I've already used it on two different mounts, and it feels solid.

The rubber ball is just under half an inch and grips my camera’s mount perfectly, and the 1/4"-20 thread screwed on without any wobble. I’ve been moving it between two bodies all week and it hasn’t loosened once. Exactly what I needed.
