The fit on my 1.25-inch rail was perfect, and the stainless steel u-bolts feel solid without any slippage. I was worried the 2.5-inch base might be too small, but it holds my device steady even on bumpy roads.

The double u-bolt clamped onto my 1-inch rail with zero play, and the short arm keeps my device tucked tight against the bar. Took maybe five minutes to install with the included hardware, and the AMPS pattern lined up perfectly.

I was worried the u-bolt wouldn't grip my 1.5-inch rail securely, but the stainless steel clamps down tight with no wobble at all. The short socket arm is just the right length for keeping my device close to the bars without sagging.
