RAM® Vertical Swivel Base

The vertical swivel is the missing link in my setup—it turns a static mount into something I can actually angle toward me without loosening anything. The knuckle holds its position perfectly even after a week of daily adjustments, zero sag.

The swivel base is built solid and has a nice, firm click when it locks into each position; no wobble once you set it. I just wish the tension adjustment was a bit more accessible, but it works fine as-is for a fixed mount setup.

Finally got the tilt and rotation I needed for a cleaner cockpit setup. The swivel action is smooth with zero wobble once you tighten it down, and the vertical base design really opened up my mounting options. Takes some initial fiddling to get the angle right, but it's solid as a rock afterward.
