Upgrading to the 1.5" ball from the smaller 1" makes the whole clamp feel noticeably more secure when I'm mounting my tablet. The screw connects cleanly to the existing Tough-Claw arms, and it took me maybe two minutes to swap everything out. Solid build, zero wobble so far.
