I was worried about stability for my phone mount on the kayak, but the Track-Node base locks in solid and the 36 inches of extension gives me plenty of reach without any wobble. Great for getting that overhead shot.

For the price I paid, the 36" extension is sturdy and doesn't flex much even with my phone mount and a heavy rig attached. Only wish the Track-Node base came with a few more adjustment options, but it locks solid once you find your angle.
