The difference in weight is immediately noticeable when lifting this plate, and it still fits perfectly on my console without any wobble. Installation took about ten minutes, and the finish looks like it will hold up to years of abuse.

Swapped out my old heavy top plate for this one and immediately noticed the difference in the rig's overall balance. The 30% weight savings is real, and it mounts just as solidly as the heavier version.

The top plate weighed almost nothing compared to my old one, and installation onto the console took less than five minutes. Definitely feels solid enough for the job site.
