The 2.25" ball system locked my fishfinder in place perfectly even through rough chop, with zero slipping. Installation took maybe 20 minutes with a drill, and the plates feel built to last a lifetime on saltwater.

Finally got around to installing this on my boat's console and the 2.25" ball system locks everything in place with zero wobble even in choppy water. The drill-down install was straightforward and the dual plates let me mount my fish finder and phone side by side.

Took my fishing kayak out for the first time with this mount and the 2.25" ball system held my fish finder rock-solid through some choppy chop. The double plate setup let me attach both the screen and the transducer arm without any wobble.
