The RAM-316-3-240U consists of the RAM POD III No-Drill™ vehicle base, three rigid aluminum rod legs, double socket arm, 2.5" round bases that contain the universal AMPs hole pattern and 3.68" round base. The base of the mount connects to your seat rail without any drilling necessary. The rigid aluminum rod legs can be bent to position your device to its optimum viewing location. The mount is designed with a RAM 1.5" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The 3.68" round base contains pre-drilled holes that connect to RAM Tough-Dock™ Powered Docking Stations.

Kevin ★★★★★

The three rigid aluminum rods make this mount feel incredibly sturdy on rough roads, and the double ball joint allows me to position my tablet exactly where I need it. Installation was straightforward with the no-drill base, and the 3.68-inch round plate holds everything securely without any wobble.

Daniel W. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about the no-drill base, but it clamped onto my truck's floor in minutes and hasn't budged after a month of rough roads. The double socket arm lets me angle my tablet exactly where I need it, and the AMPs hole pattern on the round plate lined up perfectly with my device holder.

Alexander ★★★★★

The three aluminum rod legs feel incredibly sturdy even on bumpy roads, and the double ball socket lets me angle my phone perfectly. I was worried the large round plate would be bulky, but it's actually quite sleek and unobtrusive.
