RAM® Pod™ I Vehicle Mount with 18" Rigid Aluminum Rod and Socket Arm

I was dreading wrestling with a bulky mount, but this thing is surprisingly elegant. That 18" aluminum rod bent exactly where I needed it in about two minutes, and the socket arm clicks into the 1.5" ball with a satisfying solidity. No wobble on rough roads, and the pod foot grips the dash firmly.

Bent the rod to hug the headrest just right, and the socket arm holds my tablet rock-solid over the passenger seat. Took maybe ten minutes to shape it with pliers, and it hasn't budged on bumpy roads since.
