The RAM-138U-B consists of a 2.5" diameter round base that contains the universal AMPs hole pattern, short double socket arm and diamond base adapter. The mount is designed with a 1.5" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The hole pattern found on the diamond base adapter will connect to most RAM cradles. The included RAM’s patented design dampens shock and vibration, helping to extend the life of your device.

I was tired of my phone mount wobbling on rough roads, but this base's 2.5" diameter round plate keeps everything rock-solid steady. The diamond plate adapter gave me a perfect flat surface to mount on, which made installation a breeze.

The double socket arm locks in place with zero wobble, which is exactly what I needed for my tablet mount. The diamond plate adapter feels built to last, and the 2.5” base gave me plenty of surface contact on my dash.

The AMPs hole pattern on the base lined up perfectly with my existing dash plate, and the short double socket arm keeps my tablet rock-solid with zero wobble on bumpy roads. I've tried cheaper mounts before, but this one's 2.5" round base feels like it'll outlast the truck itself.
