Swapped out the factory mount and the 1.5" rubber ball locks into my existing arm with zero wobble, even on choppy water. The marine grade base hasn’t shown a speck of corrosion after a month of salt trips.

The aluminum base feels solid in hand, and the 1.5" rubber ball locks into my mount with zero wobble. Exactly what I needed to keep my fish finder stable on choppy days.

Took my Humminbird out on rough water this weekend and this adapter held it rock steady even through some decent wakes. The 1.5" rubber ball does a great job absorbing vibration without letting the unit sag. Really solid piece of gear for the money.
