I was worried about fitting it on my thick porch post, but the large U-shaped cradle handled the 5-inch pipe easily. The double socket arm gives me just the right angle for my lantern, and the whole setup feels rock solid.

The strap cinches down snugly on my 5-inch post and doesn't budge, even after a bumpy ride. That 2.5" base with the AMPS pattern bolted right onto my existing plate without any drilling. Solid setup for hanging a heavy lantern off the ATV.
