My old tether snapped on a rough trail last month, so I grabbed this one as a direct replacement. The fact that it fits both the UN7 and UN10 X-Grip holders is a huge plus since I swap between two mounts, and the rubber feels noticeably sturdier than what came stock. The high-strength rubber makes me feel a lot more confident my phone won't bounce off the mount on bumpy trails, and it was a breeze to install.

Claire B. ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

Took this out on a long off-road ride with my phone in the holder, and the tether kept it locked tight even over the roughest washboards. The fact that it now works with both my standard and large X-Grip mounts is a huge plus—no need to buy two separate pieces.
