The 1.5-inch ball locks into my existing mount perfectly, and the strap adapter feels solid even with my heavy tackle bag attached. It took less than a minute to swap out my old base, and everything stays securely in place while I'm paddling.

Installed this on my float tube today and the 1.5” ball base clicks in securely with a satisfying snap. The strap adapter stays put even when I’m kicking hard to cross the lake.

Finally a solid mount that doesn't slip on my inflatable tube. The 1.5" ball locks in tight and the strap adapter keeps everything secure even when bouncing across chop.
