The round base with those female grooves made installation onto my bait board super straightforward and solid. I’ve had no wobble at all with the 1.5" ball locked in place during use.

The ball locks into the bait board grooves with a satisfying click, and the pre-drilled base hardware made installation a breeze. I’ve already run a couple trips with heavy tackle on the board and the adapter hasn’t budged. Exactly what I needed for a solid, wobble-free mount.

Really solid feel to the ball when it locks into the base plate—no wobble at all. The female grooves line up perfectly with my bait board, making installation straightforward.
