The female grooves on the base made mounting it to my bait board incredibly easy and secure. It holds the 1" ball firmly in place without any wobble, even when I'm casting with heavier lures. Exactly the sturdy connection I needed.

Was a bit worried about the fit, but the 1" ball snapped into my existing setup perfectly and the base grooves lined up with the bait board mount without any fiddling. Solid piece of hardware that feels like it’ll hold up season after season.

The female grooves on the base locked onto my bait board perfectly with no wobble. Charges and holds my GPS mount securely even in choppy water.
