Installed this in my truck's center console floor yesterday, and the drill-down base feels extremely solid with no wobble at all. The pivoting ball joint holds my tablet perfectly steady even on bumpy roads.

The ball and socket joint made adjusting my tablet's angle incredibly easy once I had the base bolted down. Feels rock solid even over rough roads, no wobble at all during my commute.

The drill-down base feels rock-solid once bolted to the floor, and the pivot ball lets me angle my tablet exactly where I need it. Took a little muscle to get the tightening knob just right, but now it holds firm over rough roads.
