The 2.5" round base with the universal AMPs hole pattern made installation straightforward on my existing gear. The single swing arm holds its position firmly even when I've got a heavy tablet mounted on it.

The 6" arm gives me just enough reach to position my tablet perfectly in the truck, and the socket-and-ball joint holds it steady even on bumpy roads. I wish the base sat a little flatter, but the AMPs hole pattern made installation a breeze.
