The universal AMPs hole pattern makes it dead simple to swap between my car and desk mounts without any tools. The composite cradle feels solid, and my 255WT sits snug with zero rattling over rough roads.

Snapped my Garmin nuvi 270 right into the AMPs pattern mount and it hasn't budged on bumpy roads. The high strength composite feels tough enough for daily use, and it's nice not wrestling with universal clips.

The composite cradle feels solid and clicks onto my Garmin 260T without any wobble, and the universal AMPS hole pattern let me attach it to my existing mount in seconds.
