RAM® Ratchet™ Ball Adapter

Finally, a ball adapter that actually stays tight under vibration — the ratchet adjustment is way more precise than I expected and clicks firmly into place. Perfect for dialing in the exact angle on my dashboard mount without any slippage.

The ratchet mechanism locks into each ball with a satisfying click, and the 2.25" D size fits perfectly into my existing mount setup. I've swapped it between two vehicles multiple times and it hasn't loosened a bit.

The ratchet mechanism clicks into place with a satisfying, solid feel—no wobble once it’s seated on the ball. I swapped out an older adapter and the fit on the 2.25" ball is noticeably tighter, which gives me confidence it’ll hold on rough trails.
