Setup took me maybe ten minutes, and that medium-length arm gives just the right reach to tuck my Lowrance MB-7 exactly where I want it. The 2.5" plate with the AMPS pattern lined up perfectly with the gimbal bracket, so it feels rock solid even when I'm bouncing over chop.
