RAM® Tallon Quick Release Female Base

The spring-loaded release on this receiver feels incredibly solid, and I love how it fits both my 1-inch and 1.5-inch ball mounts without any adapter swapping. Installed it on my RV rail in under five minutes, and it holds my tablet mount steady even on rough roads.

Finally a mount base that doesn’t look like an afterthought. The quick release mechanism snaps on firmly and the flush fit on my kayak deck is seamless. Installation took maybe ten minutes with the included hardware.

Installed this flush mount base in my kayak this weekend, and the retrofitting process was easier than I expected—took maybe 15 minutes. The way it securely holds both 1" and 1.5" ball adaptors gives me a lot of flexibility for swapping accessories.
