The aluminum octagon button is a solid upgrade from plastic, and it threaded into my existing mount without any issue. Held my tablet steady on a bumpy trail ride yesterday.

Drilled it into my truck's dash panel and the fit was perfect — the aluminum octagon button locked in place with zero wobble. Much sturdier than the plastic adapters I've used before.

The aluminum octagon button feels rock-solid compared to the older plastic mounts I've handled, and the drill-down base lined up perfectly with my existing holes. Took maybe five minutes to bolt on and it hasn't budged since.
