RAM® Umbrella Saddle Base with Ball

I’ve been using this as a solid base for mounting a small GPS unit on my boat, and the saddle design holds it perfectly in place even in rough water. The ball joint is easy to adjust and stays exactly where I set it after tightening.

The ball joint locks down tight with no wiggle, and the whole base feels solidly machined. I mounted a small sat phone cradle on it for the boat, and it hasn't budged through rough chop.

I wasn't sure the saddle would hold my device securely, but the ball and clamp fit together perfectly and haven't budged once during setup. The whole thing feels solid and well-machined, which gives me confidence it'll last.
